A rich Imperial Stout, brewed to be gluten reduced for those who still like to live on the edge.
Taste: Sweet cedar wood and toasted bread jumps out first, with a decadent dose of rich dark chocolate coated in treacle. Floral manuka honey is then joined by elegant pecan and a touch of bitterness to balance before rounding out with an assertive malty backbone.

Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, two finger frothy beige head, short lasting. Solid lacing on the glass. Average on the nose, bready, cocoa notes, caramel, a bit on the sweet side. Medium body, soft carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, a bit thin for an Imperial Stout. Roasty bittersweet taste. Average aroma, roasted malt, toasty caramel, sugar, molasses, figs. Sweet notes underneath, sticky. Drying mouthfeel, subtle alcohol presence. But overall aroma is a bit bland and watered down, not something I'd expect from a high ABV brew. Perhaps because it's gluten-free? Maybe. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering roasty bitterness. Not a bad brew but quite mediocre. Expected a bit more out of this one.

Keg at Tilt on the Bingohame SHN meet, 07/12/19. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark fruit rinds, hint metallic, light black peppery spice, charr, roasted notes. Taste comprises brown sugar melt, roasted bite, fruit cake, booze, burnt toffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent.

On tap @ Lajbah. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and nuts. Pours pitch black color with thin creamy tan-like head head and good lacing. Tastes of medium sweet roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, marmalade and vanilla, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is very light bitter. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Not a real danger...

Tap, Lajbah. Pitch black, thinner beige head, nonlasting. Medium coffee nose, not so much roasted, slight chocolate and cocoa. Slightly sweet, mildly bitter. Chocolate and biscuits. Roasted coffee aftertaste. Medium light body. Slight alcohol warmth. OK, but nothing too amazing.
