Grapefruit B-43 is a zesty, citrus-infused version of our regular B-43 that is a crisp, clear, dry IPA with the same hop recipe as M-43 with only three grams of carbs and 7% ABV per pint. If you’re like us and want to give your guests a low-carb option in a full-flavored beer, reach for a Grapefruit B-43.

16 oz can. Pours pale yellow, moderately hazy, with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit juice. Flavor is strong in grapefruit juice again, other citrus, some pine/herbal hops. Grapefruit is strong, but not overwhelming. I'm not a huge fan of beers with actual grapefruit juice added, but this one's okay. I don't want another, but it's okay.

Aromas are slightly old resin and citrus hops with some malt. Can is date stamped September. Flavors are similar to nose. I bought a four pack and wish I hadn't.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely grapefruit aromas with pith and grapefruit notes. Dry and bitter zest on the palate. Nice hop notes next to the pith and zest. Drying finish. Well-integrated.
