For this Pruim, we macerated Opal plums from De Kleinaart in Limburg - a small orchard with organic
plums. Maceration happened on lambik.

0,75l bottle at tasting at home. Bottled 05.01.2023. orange cloudy color, small white head. Smells some stone fruits, spices, plums, light ash, peppery. Very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. Tastes stone fruits, lactic, spices, plums, peppery, earthy. Finishes dry and medium sour with notes of stone fruits, lactic notes and peppery notes. rather on the sour side but I like those pruim blends

Bottle shared at 3 Fonteinen, for Rich's 50th Bruxelles adventure. A hazed deep peachy orange coloured pour with a a fine halo of white head. Aroma is big funky fuzzy peach, nectarine, mineral horsey funk, sour,. Flavour is composed of sharp, tangy, mineral,, fuzzy peach,, underripe Victoria plum, mineral finish. Palate is semi tart, prickly, highish carbonation. Nice funky fruit.

Bottle split at 3F Lambik O Droom, 10/02/24. Moderately hazed orange to light amber with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is tarte plums, funk, acidic nostril twinge, hedgerow, herb, pissy citric tones. Taste comprises sharp plummy depths, funk, damp cloth, balanced acidity, herb, Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a good acidic bite. Solid.

Bottle at 3F. Rich’s 50th do. Hazed dark orange. Slim ring of white bubbles. Soggy ripe plum. Manky citrus. Wheat. Slightest whiff of smoke. Taste is dry and gently tart. Touch of stone fruit bitterness. Very lean and lightly acidic. Fruity tart and softly acidic finish.
