Ribbons of Distinction is our rotational single-hop session New England pale ale series; always hazy, very juicy and delightfully simple..
We use a wheat heavy grist and Maris Otter for a good bready malt backbone, then ferment with a lovely English ale yeast. Ribbons is the little sibling of our All Clouds are Silver range.
Ribbons of Distinction foregrounds the awesome Citra hop in all its tropical, zesty glory, with layers of grapefruit, citrus, peach, melon, gooseberry, passion fruit and lychee.

Hand-pulled, half-pint at the Boot Micropub in Wellington, Shropshire on 18th November 2022. Cloudy orange body, white crown. Simcoe hops doing their stuff: Both piney and citrusy esters and flavours dominate the brew. They have obviously used rather a lot of them in the kettle.
