Special release. Annually we select barrels for this intense, multilayered and exquisite blended ale. A medley of Imperial Baltic Porter and Barley Wine aged in Heaven Hill bourbon and prestige cognac barrels. Aged to perfection and blended by our Barrel Master. Drink now, or cellar for years to come.

Sample from the bottle at Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Color is dark brown with very small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, some chocolate and roasted malts. Surprisingly simple and little bit of fizzy.

Bottled @ Sori Taproom. Poured pitch black in color. Sweet and roasty, some licorice, bourbon and raisiny notes. Roastedness, sweetness, licorice and light boozyness, warming finish, nice barrel notes. Sipper.

Tap at TCBW. Pours black. Aroma and flavor are barrel, chocolate, booze, cognac, peat. Overall: good.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 331 - BB 27.02.2024, at Sori Taproom, 20190510) The beer poured nearly black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had toasted malts, cognac and wood. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, wood, cognac, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, malts and bitterness. A taste brew with woody notes.
