Draft to bottle from lowcostbeer.com. Murky brown with a reddish tinge, thin head with little retention. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt, stone fruits, citrus pith. Bittersweet taste, tangy redcurrants, malt, grass, orange zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Not a modern pale ale. Its fairly hoppy but there are red ale and bitter elements which half work.

Plastic litre bottle from draught; Lowcostbeer. Drank all to myself on 24th July 2022. A little hazy, purple hue to the brown body, wispy off-white top on each pour. Decent enough, but it's no West Coast Pale Ale. Hedgerow fruits on a semi-sweet malty base.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours bitter brown with minimal off-white head. There’s autumn fruits in the aroma, plus hints of bitter oranges. Bitter hops are upfront in the mouth, together with malts and autumn fruits. Finish is dry but with some sweetness. Not bad at all. Said to be a West Coast Pale, but veering more towards a bitter in my view.
