500ml bottle from Anthony's of Wellington: BBE November 2022. Drank at home while tending to a BBQ on 18th July 2022. Dark bodied, cream coloured head; malty front to the aroma and taste, some chocolate esters and flavours come through as it warmed in the afternoon sun, sadly it seemed a little 'thin' in body depth and 'oomph'.

Bottle from Ebenezers, Nantwich โ€“ drunk at home. Pours a dark plum purple with a lively but transient cream head. Thereโ€™s a slightly fruit aroma โ€“ but not much. Fruits however, come to the fore in the mouth, with plums, raisins and dark fruits intermingled. Caramel and malts underly it all, and some chocolate comes through eventually. Not a worldbeater, but pretty decent.
