As the name implies, this is a light mild. It pours almost what I would (confusingly) term “bitter brown” – just a shade more red though. There’s a small foamy cream head and good lacing. Cask at (Ye Olde) Rose & Crown, Stafford. Aroma has malts and biscuits. In the mouth there is a lsight initial bitterness before syrupy sweetness takes ovewr. Flavour has malts, caramel and hints of chestnuts and there is a slightly fruity finish. This is excellent !

Hand0pulled pint at The Cock Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 13th May 2022. Lovely Mild, clean and clear dark amber body, tanned foaming head. Malty and slightly caramel/toffee flavoured, nice!
