Brewed with Tomahawk and Simcoe hops. Viven Imperial IPA came from the westcoast of America but is brewed in Flemish style and gives a great result. It will make the beer lovers heart beat a bit faster. An adventure for your senses. Amber coloured with a thin off-white head, Viven Imperial IPA is a good hoppy beer with citrus accents. Fruity nose (peach and pink grapefruit) with floral flavours, recalls a forest (spruce) in the early morning. The hops are prominent. Viven Imperial IPA is pleasently bitter.

33cl bottle, BB 05/12/14. Hazy, deep amber in color with a thick, beige, lasting head. Resiny, piney aroma with caramel. Flavor has caramel, pine, bitter hops. Finish is bitter with gooseberries and sweetness later on. not that fresh, but still quite tasty. Slightly sticky with some alcohol pushing through at first, but disappears later on.

29/05/2013 Bir&Fud Bottega (330ml bottle). Ambrata, limpida, filtrata, schiuma bianca abbondante, discretamente persistente. Al naso sentori agrumati, pinosi, di pesca e resina, frutta matura, buona presenza di malto. In bocca delude un po’, senza dubbio equilibrata, ma manca di quello spunto che ci si sarebbe aspettati con un naso del genere. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Ok.

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden to amber beer topped by a dense, off-white head of finger-thick size. Lots of tropical fruits in the aroma, peaches and orange peel, with a little malty sweetness. Alcohol and grass too. Sweet, bitter and fruity flavor with a faint peppery hint. Lasting bitter and fruity finish. Overall, quite tasteful and pleasant. Would like a bit more sting though, all the way. 130516
