Brewed with Tomahawk and Simcoe hops. Viven Imperial IPA came from the westcoast of America but is brewed in Flemish style and gives a great result. It will make the beer lovers heart beat a bit faster. An adventure for your senses. Amber coloured with a thin off-white head, Viven Imperial IPA is a good hoppy beer with citrus accents. Fruity nose (peach and pink grapefruit) with floral flavours, recalls a forest (spruce) in the early morning. The hops are prominent. Viven Imperial IPA is pleasently bitter.

Draft. Cloudy amber body with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of pine, apricot, citrus, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Some overripe fruit in the taste along with pine and resin. Lingering bitterness. Just OK.

Draft at Yard House-Springfield . Ending an evening of VA tastings with a Belgian. Saved for last. Murky medium amber pour, with soft off white head. Sweetish nose recalls honey and jelly. Taste is oft and welcoming, sweet, minor bitterness, honey, preserves. Silky smooth and creamy. Just what the doctor ordered. Fare thee well, Virginia. And sampled again in Cali, even better this time around

Flesje thuis gedronken. Bruin-rood helder bier. Aroma is fruitig. Smaak is echter aangenaam bitter. Smaak blijft lang hangen.
