Brewed with Tomahawk and Simcoe hops. Viven Imperial IPA came from the westcoast of America but is brewed in Flemish style and gives a great result. It will make the beer lovers heart beat a bit faster. An adventure for your senses. Amber coloured with a thin off-white head, Viven Imperial IPA is a good hoppy beer with citrus accents. Fruity nose (peach and pink grapefruit) with floral flavours, recalls a forest (spruce) in the early morning. The hops are prominent. Viven Imperial IPA is pleasently bitter.

Bottle 330ml (from BBF)
Deep amber color, steady good off-white head and lace. Oily resiny aroma with hints of fresh grass. Medium-bodied. Oily is palate too. Sweetish tropical fruityness in the front. Resiny and even some rubbery notes. Lingering piney bitterness in the aftertaste. Very American DIPA, no signs of "Belgium" here.

0.33 l bottle from Firma Bier, best before 8/4/2017. Clear, orangeish amber with a huge, creamy, stable, tan head. Fruity-resiny aroma of mango, pine, honey and orange. Sweetish, fruity-resiny taste of mango, orange, pine and honey, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy and slightly oily mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Good, but probably too old for a more prominent hop character. Also a bit too sticky for my liking. Liked the Master IPA better.

Many thanks for this beer to JefVerstraete. Piekna barwa, miedziano bursztynowa, metna i piekna czapowata piana gwaltownie rosnaca ze az trzeba uwazac przy nalewaniu. Piwo smaczne tresciwe wytrawne i bardzo gozkie. Zaskakujace i umilajace wieczorek. Gorycz wyczuwalna i lekko drazniaca podniebienie, lekka jablkowa slodowosc, wytrawnosc podczas picia dominujaca jednak. Jak na Belgie bardzo gozkie piwo, a alkohol wogole nie wyczuwalny, to standard wsrod dobrych belgijskich piw. Polecam.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden/amber body with a medium off-white head. Lively carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of resin, boozy orange and toffee. Flavour of pine needles, peppery spice and flowery hops. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Prickly fizz. Reminds me of Lagunitas’ Maximus. Very good.

beautiful appearnce of hazy amber colour and huge, creamy, stable yellowish off-white head; aroma of citruses, caramel, pine resin, hints of tagerine, maybe some grape/raisin; bittersweet taste with caramel, pine resin, less intensive citruses than in the aroma, some bread and overripe tropicl fruits; excellent IIPA

Some citrus and a little smoke bin this. Lots of resin. Hazy amber pour. Some caramelized malt. Bittersweet finish. A little odd. Tap at Churchkey.
