Brewed with Tomahawk and Simcoe hops. Viven Imperial IPA came from the westcoast of America but is brewed in Flemish style and gives a great result. It will make the beer lovers heart beat a bit faster. An adventure for your senses. Amber coloured with a thin off-white head, Viven Imperial IPA is a good hoppy beer with citrus accents. Fruity nose (peach and pink grapefruit) with floral flavours, recalls a forest (spruce) in the early morning. The hops are prominent. Viven Imperial IPA is pleasently bitter.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/26/2016. Pours very hazy/cloudy reddish orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops, spicy yeast, and dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of piney bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and robustness of citrus/tropical hops, spicy yeast, and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately crisp/sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian DIPA style. All around great complexity, balance, and robustness of citrus/tropical hops, spicy yeast, and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

fat överfyllt Ölreoubliken kl 18.00?!?. Svag doft av nja lite frukt å druvor, jordkällare . Ja glömde det livsavgörande omdömmet Utseende. Håll i er . Mörkrostad färg. Ja smaken då?? Brödig lite druva . Nja fa fasen ok IPA. öl med lite väl mycket alkohol. Lagom kolsyrad. Ja faan nu halvägs in i Fish and Shipsen smakar ölen mycket pilsner&#

Bottle from Buxton Brewery. Hazy deep amber colour with a foamy of white head. Lots of citrus hops in the aroma. Sweet to bitter finish. very nice.

Bottle, Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Always keen to try a Belgian take on on my favourite style. Amber pour with a thinnish off white head. Fragrant hop and citrus present in the aroma. Flavour had more decent hoppage alongside caramel, yeast, and grapefruit. Smooth slightly creamy mouthfeel. Bitter sweet finish. Solid take on a DIPA but not out of the top drawer.

Tap@Delirium Cafe Beer Cave. Kraftigt grumlad, mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med två fingrar högt skum. Mastiga dofter av grape, ananas och tall. Gräddig munkänsla. Lite smörig och karamellig inledning som ersätts av lots and lots av beska. Oj, oj, vilken hit! Släng er i väggen amerikanare, denna är riktigt bra.

11.2 oz. bottle purchased at Bottles, Providence, RI. Deep hazy Amber color with lasting bubbly head. Aroma gives me a deep floral character with some mild yeast hints. Flavor starts sweet with fruit and mild yeast. The deep hop profile is grapefruit and floral with a mild resin hint. The bitterness get progressively more bitter as I sip. Extremely dry texture with the pine showing.
Overall I enjoyed sipping on this. Enough malt balance to keep it centered yet it has the long lasting bitterness a Hophead is seeking. Very unexpected coming out of Belgium with the layer of hops.

Poured from a bottle into a teku glass looks very dark cloudy brown with lighter color in the rims, practically no head despite an aggressive pour. The nose shows a lot of sweet malts with a very light hop background. The palate is quite light bodied with aggressive carbonation. The first impression is a balanced malt sweetness that transitions into a sharp IPA bitterness at the end. Seems to drink like a cross between an American IPA and a Belgian Ale. Nonetheless, quite interesting.
