Half-pint, shared with Finn. Bubbly surface, spotty lacing, coal black body. Inviting on the nose with dark malts and berry skins. Blended taste of almond, chocolate malts and dark berries. Smoothly roasted end. Pleasing. (Liverpool, 13.02.2025).

Cask, hand-pulled half-pint in the Fishpond, Matlock Bath on 5th May 2023. It's a Cherry Bakewell Stout apparently and it's true to it's name. Dark bodied, beige head and smells/tastes of cherries and almonds; interesting but a half was enough for me.
