Hand-pulled half-pint on 15th April 2023: Enigma Tap, North Shields. Black bodied, tanned topping. Bitter malty brew with a slight smoked feel, usual coffee and chocolate Stout flavours, dry.

Cask at tynedale beer festival. Pours deep brown, nose is chocolate, roasted, liquorice, taste is similar, sweet, dusty.

Cask at the Tynedale Beer Festival 2021. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of smoke and liquorice. Taste is smoky, some chocolate. Thin finish.

cask at the tynedale beer festival... dark black.. thin tan lacing lacing... soft dusty chocolate roast malts nose... dark dry dusty chocolate roast malts.. Light bitter licorice
