We began the sticky bun brew with a batch of our award winning British Brown Ale. Then we took a trip over to Jaarsma’s, our favorite bakery. We walked away with 7 dozen of their super sticky and oh so delicious pecan rolls. After eating one or maybe two we filtered 3 barrels of our British Brown Ale through the Pecan Rolls for a bold beverage that is part pastry, part beer, and all good.

Aromas are lots of caramel, with some dark malt and hints of cinnamon plus a bit of funk. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, cinnamon comes out more. Not so much a brown ale as a dessert beer. But still good. Would be good at Thanksgiving.
