12 oz can from Wegmans, 5/8/25. Pours darker brown, light brown head. Very sweet. Chocolate, caramel, vanilla. Some bread and grains. Too one dimensional sweet flavor-wise for me. A little too sticky, but very smooth and easy drinking. Pretty good, but at this sweetness level one is more than enough.

12 ounce, 12/16/24. Black, large tan head, average retention. Aroma of chocolate cookies, mild lactose. Fair enough. Taste is roast, chocolate, lactose. Tasty.

12oz single from the Brew Shop in Arlington. Born on 9/20/24. Pint glass at home. Clear, black coffee brown on black pour. Quick soda sizzle. Massive cookie dough/oreo nose. Way too forced. Taste is charred chocolate milk, Yoohoo. Mellow sharp roast, lingering fudge, sweet creme. A slightly artificial ice cream sandwich. Lightly sooty finish. Overall, a bit thin & much too sweet. A little fake. Is what it is.

Vanilla, chocolate fudge malt, and hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with small brown head. Moderately sweet vanilla chocolate fudge malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body.

Pours very dark brown. Smells of chocolate cookies and roast malt. The flavor is sweet but not terribly so, a malty brew with Oreos and a creamy body. Good.

Milk stout, maybe, but this is actually a pastry stout. Can pours big and black with little head. It says on the can there are special rotating flavors but I don't see any other listing here on RB for other samples of this genre. Smell is sweet sugar milk. First hit on the palate does interestingly show some decent carboantion. Lots of sugar in the flavor, yes your typical sweetish milk stout is there but its beefed up with a sugary near cloying backbone. Yes, in the middle I think it may be less sweet than most domestic pastry stouts but it still provides a pretty good wallop of undesired sugars. Never really could get used to the importance of this style, they always seem over the top in the unfermented sugars. Difficult? Fer sher, and I'm finally glad the ending comes around. Finishes like any other overdone sweet pastry beer, sweetened forward yuk mess. There, you have it. Blah, just as expected.

Black with a medium sized foamy tan head. Bitter and roasty with an oreo cookie presence. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.
