Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2023, Friday. Black beer, beige head. Aroma and Taste of sweet roasted dark malt, chocolate, oranges, caramel. Sweet roasty finish.

Pours black, no real head. Scent is full, chocolate, smooth, syrupy. Taste is sharp, too thin and highly carbonated. Gingerbread. Bit ashy, burnt chocolate. Not great.

Draught Cream-tan head with shards of lace over jet-black beer. Velvety nose with chocolate, greyish-green leaves. Perfumey, marzipan and black chocolated. Cherry liqueur, vanilla. Finish is Sachertorte with more orange than cherry. Utterly sticky-sweet, syrupy. Rich, says it all.
