Can. Pours a very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is lots of hazelnut, definitely some praline nature. Chocolate and coffee, lovely complex brown and lighter dark roasts. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is malty and creamy, nutty with hazelnut, less praline-like than in aroma. Rather sweet but not too much. Chocolate and a hint of coffee. Very nice porter.

440ml can from Cotteridge Wines. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, liqourice, big dry coffee, dark chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty sweet malt, dry coffee, light floral hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour, no head. Chocolately, nutty, dark malty and minimally spicy aroma, notes of nougat, chocolate, cocoa, a touch of cinnamon and mocha; while the beer warms up the flavours twist and coffee flavours predominate, an additional fruity touch of blueberry comes in. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and nutty, dark malty, slightly spicy, notes of nougat, chocolate, hints of cinnamon, roasted coffee beans, mocha, a fruity touch of blueberry at times, toffee and caramel every now and then. Rather watery texture with lateral creamy touch, slightly prickly carbonation becomes a bit flat with time. Quite multifaceted, evolving, if not oscillating. Very nice.
