Pounder can. Pour is big and dark with a creamy head that fades. Smell is that of chocolate sugar. Taste is chocolate as well but I cant really find the coconut, but maybe there is some caramel or marshmallow in there. Middle nears cloying but never quite gets there. Decent creamy co2. Probably should be listed as a pastry beer, not really a brown ale per se. Different, somewhat interesting, could not drink two of these and at least for 6%, you'll catch a little buzz for yer trouble doin a tick. So be it. There you have it, another specialty pastry beer. These pastry things are quite a boor.

Black with a small foamy tan head. Toasty malt, coconut and chocolate. Medium finish and body.

12oz bottle. A pretty enjoyable beer still, not overboard sugar bombed. OK, maybe a little sweet still. True pastry stuff, lots of vanilla, caramel, confectionary type tones. Pretty tasty for the style, reasonable enough ABV keeps it drinkable.
