Bottle from the brewery. Black with a foamy, brown head of modest duration. Intensely peat-like aroma. Whiskey. Charred oak. Taste is faintly sweet up front, then immediately toasted bitter, finishing the same but with a big, warming booziness on top. Full-bodied, a bit over-carbonated for the style. Not a top notch impy, but still quite decent.

A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, wood, peated malt, whiskey. Taste of dark roasted woody malt, dried fruits, whisky, peated malt, boozy finish.

Süß-torfiger Geruch. Leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Malzig-alkoholischer Beginn, torfig, cremig. Die erhöhte Karbonisierung stört etwas, Kakao, wenig Alkohol, rund. Vollmundig malzig im Mittelteil und Abgang, sehr harmonisch. 12/11/12/12/10/12
