Still cider. Grimshall Early is made from the beginning season fruit from a small orchard of very old trees near Lostwithiel. Varieties uncertain, but definitely some Primrose, Tommy Knight and Colloggett Pippin. Tart, fruit forward and uncomplicated, bone dry and slightly astringent.

750ml bottle from Vagrant Cider. Clear bright orangey gold colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of fruit, apple flesh & core. Taste is sharp, tangy, apple, fruity, fleshy, with some tartness and citric acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.
