Bottle picked up at BrewDog Inverurie. It pours darkest brown to black with a small dark tan head which doesn't hang about too long. The aroma is rich roasted malt, intoxicating, bitter - sweet, dark chocolate cake, toasted coconut, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, bounty bar, dusty bourbon barrels,rocky road, milky coffee and jammy wagon wheel. The taste is slick, oily, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, big slap of warming booze, bourbon soaked oak, toffee, some spice, nuttiness, cacao nibs, praline, vanilla, toasted coconut, rocky road, nougat, gooey marshmallow, tunnocks teacakes, coffee grounds and mocha with a warming and drying bourbon soaked oak finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. The description suggests this may be too sweet, but it isn't. The heat and drying oak keep the sweetness in check. Fun stuff.

Bottle, 355 ml, shared with Luka, MiroB and Tomi. Black with brownish head. Chocolate, coffee, cocoa, sweet, some bourbon. Medium bodied. Somewhat thin.

Sweet and boozy, dark chocolate, nougat, coconut, plenty of barrel. Smooth, balanced for pastry shenanigans, excellent.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 03/03/24. Black with a beige cap that thins to the edge. Nose is bourbon soaked oak, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar melt, toffee fudge, Taste comprises molasses, dark malts, coconut fudge, vanilla, ripe old balanced bourbon shmack, spice, hint of coffee, dark chocolate shavings. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Solid kit ... Strong/Impy type device ... sips easy for 14.6% and has a good overall balance about it.
