--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, small beige head. Earthy licorice and coffee up front. Mid sweet with medium to full body and vital, rounded mouthfeel. Molasses and earthy licorice, leather and dates. Peppery warming finish. Elegant, semi-dry imperial stout

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Deep brownish copper colour with a small off-white. Aroma is chocolate, some toffee, mild alcohol and some clove tones. Flavour is roasted, some toffee, alcohol and mild syrup with chocolate and some mild plummy tones.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy and lacing beige head. Roasty nose with a tad greasiness. Solid body, roasty, chocolatey - a bit harsh and tar like with a roasty, bitter finish. 030623
