pitch black color. Massive rum barrel, burnt raisins, chocolate in the nose. Super smooth. Love the barrel character , not the best base beer but excellent character.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, small head. Aroma of dark chocolate and salmiak. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Crude oil, dark chocolate and licorice. Finishes like boozy salmiak brandy. Not very complex, but quite intense with more boozyness and the dreaded cakeyness you get in most stouts these days.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is biscuits, chocolate, some alcohol and mild hazelnuts to it. Flavour is toffee, chocolate, alcohol, some hazelnuts and dark chocolate with some wooden tones too. Quite smooth. Dessertbeer.

Can 33 cl. Pours thick and opaque black as motor oil with next to no head - seemingly flat. Lovely and intense aroma more of dark, dried and overripe fruits than roastiness. Hint of licorice. Very light fizz, but not entirely flat. Warming finish. Super delicious desert Stout. 031122

Taster, Taphouse. Pitch black, medium beige head, ok lasting. Mild chocolate nose, slight roasted notes, mild vanilla. Medium bitterness, slight roastiness. A bit woody. Slight sweet finish. Medium body. A bit of alcohol warmth. Milder aftertaste. Not bad, but nothing really special.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (02/07/2022) - black with a beige covering. Sweet and light dark roasted malty, getting some liquorice, cocoa, full bodied, dark malty lingering finish. Good stuff.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Black with a lasting off-white head. Roasted aroma with liquorice, mint, molasses and a herbal note. Dry, roasted flavour with liquorice and a herbal bitterness.
