Named for the constant temperature of cool, clear first magnitude springs, 72 Pale Ale is a beer for the hop lover, featuring a prominent citrus and floral hop aroma paired with a bready malt note in the background. It has an enticing, light copper color and is balanced, but leans decidedly towards the hops in its flavor and aroma. This beer is medium-bodied with a semi-dry finish that leaves a pleasant herbal/spicy aftertaste. 72 is dry hopped with a trio of Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook varieties.

Tasted at Satchel’s Pizza in Gainesville, FL. Draft pours clear amber with thick, lasting head. Rich mouthfeel cushioned with foam, lasting bitterness. Very nice ale.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Golden colour small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild herbal and some bready tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some sweet malts, bready tones with toasted elements and mild nectary tones. Quite sharp carbonation.
