Rha Cider er laga av aromatiske bordeple frå Sogn som er gjæra saman med raud rabarbra og nyper. Rabarbra har vore ei viktig råvare i norsk fruktvin. Cideren har eit friskt og fast vinpreg med god struktur. God til mange ulike matrettar.
"Barbarane" langs Volga dyrka planten rha. I Europa vart det til Rha-barbaria.

750 ml clear bottle, from Helgø MENY, Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy pink to orange colour, pours sparkling with a moderate white head. Strong aroma of dessert apples, rosehips and rhubarb. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, distinctly fruity, dominant apples, also rosehips and rhubarb.

Small fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, cloudy light reddish orangy color. Aroma is slightly sweet fruity, winegum, flowers, berries, grass, butterscotch, minerals, sweet apples, soda powder. Taste is slightly dry fruity, hay, flowers, berries, sweet apples, soda powder, paper, apple peel, bark, minerals, sorrel, leafs. Medium biterness, slightly harsh and dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Boring.

YG 180323. Orange-pink color with white bubbles. Aroma is apples,rhubarb, roseship. Flavor is apple, rhubarb, roseship, yeast, sourness,grass. bNice cider

Bottle, 75cl. A lightly hazy pinkish-orange colored cider with some white bubbles on top, from a gentle but constand bubbling. The aroma is apple driven, but there's quite a lot of ceneric fruityness too. More rosehip than rhubarb I think. A faint spiced, almost woody hint too. It's a bit thin on the palate, but that of course makes it very downable. A light sparkle and a light sourness too. Fruity flavor with the rhubarb shining through. Rosehips, grass notes, something wood-like and of course a good dash of apple too. Medium length finish. A thirst quencher indeed, although not super-exciting. 230318
