A bold and indulgent imperial porter brewed with chocolate and a variety of chocolate malts.
Taste: Starts off with a presence of freshly baked goods and decadent chocolate, which is accented by notes of dark bread crust and toasted hazelnuts. The finish is smooth and satisfying, with hints of caramel and roasted malts, leaving a slight lingering bitterness on the palate, tempting you to take another sip.
Appearance: Deep dark brown with a dense chestnut head.
Nose: Filled with dark chocolate notes that mingle with the warm and earthy tones of roasted malts and rye.
Malts: Maris otter, Munich light malt, Rye malt, Chocolate rye malt, Pale chocolate malt, Chocolate dark malt, Carafa special T-2
Hops: Chocolate (cocoa mass, cocoa butter, cocoa powder), Columbus, Yellow sub

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark chocolate with some roasted coffee tones, light bready tones and sweet ash
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine chocolatey sweet tone; finishes bready, chocolatey and bringing back that sweet ashy tone
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to be a sipper; plenty of smoothness but also plenty of dryness and I guess that's coming from the ashy note
Overall: I wasn't entirely thrilled with this one as the ashy vibe seemed to be fairly invasive.

0,33 bottle. Megszokott egyszerű Pöhjala címke mögött egy szép barnásfekete sör, vékonyan megmaradó világosbarna habbal. Aroma: karamell maláta, pörkölt illat, valamennyi étcsoki is érződik, de inkább kőkemény pörkölt malátásság. Testes. Kakaós, komoly, finom, ahogy melegszik a szívet lelket is melengeti. Alkohol picit érződik, de kiemelkedő sör!

On tap at Põhjala, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is dry, with plenty of dark cocoa, toasted malt, and bready malt. Flavour is really dry, with lots of dry cocoa, some earthiness, and toasted malt. Really great structure, with deep malts and dry dark cocoa permeating the finish. Excellent.

330ml bottle from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty, earthy, dark chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, liqourice, light molasses, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
