A bold and indulgent imperial porter brewed with chocolate and a variety of chocolate malts.
Taste: Starts off with a presence of freshly baked goods and decadent chocolate, which is accented by notes of dark bread crust and toasted hazelnuts. The finish is smooth and satisfying, with hints of caramel and roasted malts, leaving a slight lingering bitterness on the palate, tempting you to take another sip.
Appearance: Deep dark brown with a dense chestnut head.
Nose: Filled with dark chocolate notes that mingle with the warm and earthy tones of roasted malts and rye.
Malts: Maris otter, Munich light malt, Rye malt, Chocolate rye malt, Pale chocolate malt, Chocolate dark malt, Carafa special T-2

A small taste @ the flagship Alko, press blind tasting. Pours very dark brown with a low tan head Aroma is sweet roasted malts with dark fruits and caramel. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, spices, dark fruits, some alcohol, some hops. Maybe some esters as well. Quite nice.

Smell- weak dark chocolate, malt. Foam-thin, weak fruits, weak dark. chocolate, the head is small to medium, and light brown in color. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, simple label. Black, no visible carbonation. From - pint Taste - malt, alcohol, dark chocolate, faint bitter tones. Quite boozy, below average in my opinion.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige/écru leggera. Al naso note di cioccolato, caffè, leggera liquirizia. In bocca è bilanciata, cioccolatosa e caffettosa insieme, con amaro medio. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Un po' banale e non pulitissima.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark plum, almost black, with stable and fine, moderate cream foam. Aroma is of chocolate, molasses, fruity and cherry. Body is fairly thick, with moderate carbonation. Nice stickiness. Taste is medium-high sweet, with some roasty. Final is fairly long, sweet and sticky.
