Brno tasting 08/2024. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of raspberries, dark malt, dark chocolate. Dark malt, raspberries, chocolate, molasses, caramel. Nice.

Leicht salziger, dunkel malziger Beginn mit beerigen Noten, süß-säuerlich. Weich malzig, geringe Herbe, süffig. Vollmundig, zunehmend nach Himbeere, würzig, karamellig. Langer Abgang, zunehmend herb. Gut. 10/11/11/11/9/11

330ml can. Opaque, darkest brown colour with slightly late awakening, average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish, slightly roasty, chocolately, dark malty and fruity aroma, notes of raspberry, raspberry flavoured chocolate, whiffs of pistachio, salty-mineral overtones. Taste is spicy, fruity, minimally tangy and slightly roasty, chocolately, dark malty, notes of raspberry, salt, chocolate, raspberry flavoured chocolate, some fruit acidic tartness, subtle sweetness. Slightly creamy texture, minimally astringent palate, fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. OK composition, not overly complex - decent.
