330ml @ Ryan's shared with Peter (thx, man, for the beer!). Appearance: hazy copper with a beige head. Aroma: smoky, weird esters, some mazut, a bit aggressive. Some grassy notes. Taste: along the same lines, very peaty, some smoke. Overall: good for peat and smoke lovers, but I am not amongst those people, hehe.

Poured from 330mL bottle (Rum & Rauch; bb 30.10.2025; bottle #553). Odd concept - a dubbel with Islay whiskey and Caribbean rum. Hazed copper brown with off-white head. Lots of peat and iodine from the whiskey, the rum is quite subtle, the Belgian esters are quite hidden in the background. Can't really get much from the base beer with these barrels, but it's oddly decent.

Bottle No.: 552 from the brewery. Cloudy dark red in the glass, more than one finger pale beige head. Looks good. Boozy rum and peated on the nose. Taste starts smooth rum fruity. Increasing peat and pale dry grainy. Choco malt and wet barrel wood, some marzipan. Nice long lasting aftertaste.

Clear reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of peated malt, red malt, wood. Taste of peated red malt, rum, wood, strong dark malt.

Trocken torfiger Antrunk. Leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung, deutlich herb, leicht alkoholisch. Weiterhin torfig, getreidig, süßlich, was die Torfigkeit pusht. Langer, trocken hellmalziger und torfiger Abgang. 9/10/9/10/10/10
