Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a rough, white head. Rich, warming alcohol aroma paired with distinct honey accents. Medium body, fruity, honeyish with quite some finishing bitterness. The barrel aging is there as an edge but never dominating. Somewhat oxidized. 120325

Bottle from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Sweet with cognac, apples, mild oak and dried fruit. Full body and with warming notes. A nice one.

ABV: 11.5%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white - silver head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity yeast, wood, cognac, oak. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity yeast, wood, apple - honey, coqnac, oak, fruity yeast - sweet yeast, sweet malt - marzipan malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming. [20240119]

Sample (thanks omhper!). Deep honeyish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is bigtime cognac, some caramel, dried fruits and a bit nutty tones to it. Alcohol also shows a bit. Flavour is caramel, some cognac, rum, raisins and mild alcohol with some marzipan, nuts and mild wooden tones.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear deep golden, small head. Cognac is evident in a woody nose where marzipan and elderflowers are present. Sweet with full body and dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Intense cognac, doughy bread, marzipan and mild wood. Mildly warming mid bitter finish.
