You’ve tried real ale. And you might think you know what real ale tastes like. But don’t be so shore. This is real exciting real ale. Columbus, Mosaic and Citra come together to give a light fruitiness and a balanced bitter finish all brought together with a lightly toasted biscuit and caramel aroma. Real ale like your grandad’s never tasted. This is punked up proper ale.

Bottle on 28th March 2026 from Co-Op via Deliveroo. Pours virtually clear amber with shallow, diminishing off-white foam and scant lacing. Malty aroma with ripe soft fruits. Tangy fruitiness in-mouth, with some grasses and a nuttiness just over the savoury line. Citrus notes in finish. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Rather pleasant.

Can 44cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Brilliant medium amber colour, loose soapy y off-white head, mostly dissipating, 5 mm foam remains, light lacing. Aroma toasted malt, grain, caramel, light orange, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, grain, some orange. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, grainy notes, slightly more bitterness in the finish, very nice.

500ml bottle. Poured a slightly hazy light amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malty, yeasty, light hops. The flavour is light bitter, with a light malty, toffee, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Whatever happened to Brewdog?
