Delt med A-L i heimen på nyttårsaften. Svart. Høyt mokkafarget luftig skum som daler sakte. Tynn spotlacing. God kaffearoma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken røstet malt, lakris - og litt kaffe. Lett tørr avslutning. Balansert - og alkoholen godt kamuflert. Siste rating for meg på Ratebeer. Det har vært et forhold som varte i nesten 20 år. Har brakt mye glede - og en del fortvilelse. Ikke ulikt et ekteskap som har vaklet i mange år før det ble helt slutt.

150ml, draught, sample tray at Røør. A covering beige head, pitch black in the glass, scattered laving. Attractive aromas of chocolate malts, smoothly roasted. Well balanced taste of espresso chocolate malts, grain, and coffee. Fine roasted bitterness to the ending with lingering coffee-chocolate. Full bodied. Good drinking. (Oslo, 25.11.2024).

Black with a large foamy brown head that left great lacing. Bitter, roasty and dryish with a strong espresso presence. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Can. It pours a more or less black body and a small, dense dark beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has lots of delicious espresso touch. Roasted malts, chocolate, some dried fruit and alcohol. It's full bodied and lightly warming, quite dry, with a nice carbonation level. The flavor too has lots of espresso, with some green notes, pine cones and grass, roasted malts, chocolate and raisin. Lasting coffee driven finish. A really delicious beer indeed. Love the coffee domination still present after a couple of years. Delicious. 240622

Can from Tavour. Pours a la Guinness. Very dark brown - huge dark tan head. Aroma is strong coffee. Full bodied. Flavor is very nice coffee/espresso with chocolate and dark malt. Unexpectedly dryish. Definitely bitter. Smooth/silky texture. Very nice.

Can. A- Cocoa, espresso, deep. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Roasty, espresso, cocoa. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Honestly tasted like a Guinness with more depth. The espresso adds complexity but not too strong in flavor. Well made.
