Suomalainen olut oli laadukasta ja arvostettua jo 1500-luvulla, kun Ruotsin kuninkaan hovihankkijat tilasivat olutta Turun linnan isänniltä. Auran Panimo perustettiin Aurajoen rannalle vuonna 1884 ja sen yksi ensimmäisistä oluttyyleistä oli Bock.

Aura Bock on vahva, vaalea lagerolut. Se on väriltään kaunis, vaalean meripihkan sävyinen, maultaan runsaan maltainen ja aavistuksen makea. Kaadettaessa lasiin se jättää pysvyvän valkoisen vaahdon.

50cl can.
Poured clear and golden in color, fizzy head.
Sweet, malty, light bready and warming. Clean and drinkable, bit dull.

Draught@Rytmikorjaamo, Seinäjoki. Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is nutty, some floral, mild toffeeish as well as some toasted tones. Flavour is toasted, nutty, toffeeish and some slight floral notes. Quite nice bock!

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Almost clear amber, small head. Aroma of honey and caramel. Sweet with medium body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Caramel and honey. Low bitterness.

ABV: 6.5%. Cloudy medium amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel - sweet malt, fruity malt - fruity yeast, wheat - grain. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity malt - fruity yeast, caramel, sweet malt, wheat - grain. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220505]

13/8/2021. Can courtesy of Mart, cheers! Pours clear golden amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, fruit, bread, touch of spice. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Can at home, Lahti. Enjoyed straight from the can. Aromas and flavours: Grain, some sweetness, syrup and malts. Syrupy bock.
