Bra denne, men kanskje litt fremfusende humlebitterhet. Ikke at den er for sterk eller noe slikt, den er bare litt skarp. Det er nesten så jeg tenker i retning av bitterhumla til en tysk pilsner.

Bottle, courtesy of Cunningham. An almost unclear dark golden colored beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving lacing. Citrusy, piney aroma of the gentle kind. Some malty notes and a touch of some spice. Grass notes. It's medium bodied and a bit heavy on the carbonation, semi-dry, with a decent bitterness, especially towards the end. Orange zest, resin and some pine cones in the flavor, all lasting for a while. Sort of easy drinkable, but nothing special going on here. 170831

12.08.2017, 0,33l bottle @ home, courtesy of Cunningham:
Big fizzy-creamy longlasting head, slightly cloudy. Aroma is slightly dry grassy, moss, weeds, old leafs, minerals, harsh grass, bark, hops, paper, raw cabbage. Taste is dry grassy, weeds, old leafs, harsh grass, moss, paper, bark, hay, hops, soil, hints of raw cabbage. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh grassy mouthfeel. Boring.

Unclear dark golden color with an off white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body (fine for an 4% beer) and an average to soft carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Bready, malty, mild citric, mild fruit and herbal flavor. Decent ok beer, but did not get that hoppy feeling. It is presented as an American pale ale.
