Bottle. A chestnut colored beer with a dense finger-thick beige head. The aroma is lightly roasted, nutty and bready, with a touch of caramel. It's medium bodied and semi-dry on the palate, very softly carbonated. The flavor is bready and lightly roasted, with some caramel and nuts. Medium length finish. A rather dull one, even for a brown ale. 220723

Bottle. Clear, deep amber body under a huge, creamy beige head. Mild aroma of malt and bread with a hint of burnt caramel. Taste is sweet malt, bread, caramel with moderate bitterness. Balanced body and sweet malty, slightly roasted aftertaste. Quite straight forward, decent brown ale. Nothing extraordinary, but that’s the way of the style.

Drukket i solveggen på Lillehøgda. Mørk amber. Skumring med litt farge. Klar. Beskjeden aroma av røstet malt. Smaken karamell. Med hint av svisker. Søtlig - så vidt bitter - avslutning.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Good looking with its beige head over a deep copper coloured body, fair lacing. Moderate caramel malts on the nose, hints of herbal hops. Similar taste of plain caramel malts, semi-sweet. Prolonged ending, slightly roasted. Smooth on the swallow. Medium bodied. Likable. (Tromsø 13.05.2022).
