Complex yet super drinkable, No Quarter is full bodied yet crisp. Norwegian special malts deliver a deep copper colour, gentle caramel tones with biscuity, bready and nutty notes – all expertly balanced against an aromatic herbal bitterness.

Mild smell of malt. Chestnut colour, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, some caramel, faint nuts and earth. Medium sweet, lightly bitter. Fizzy carbon. Good.

Tap @ Patricks. Almost clear deep golden body under a decent off-white head. Aroma has mat, biscuit, herbs, hint of dry fruit and some citric fruit. Taste is well balanced sweet malt, biscuit, light toffee, dry fruit, citric fruit and balanced bitterness. Fine, smooth body and average aftertaste. Nice, classic, tasty British inspired pub ale.

On tap at Patrick's. A hazy copper colored beer with a dense two finger off-white head leaving lacing. Malt driven aroma with toffee, burnt malts, coffee hints, some dark dried fruit and a very light hoppy fruitiness. It's quite chewy on the palate, smoothly carbonated, with a nice bitterness. Roasted malts, some burnt notes and some prunes and dried figs. Toffee, bread crust and hints of grass. Lingering finish. Nice indeed. 230313
