La Salamandre, the original BFM, wheat beer, fresh and spicy. Brewed with wheat- and barley malt, La Salamandre is a beer with a bloomy and tangy bouquet. On the palate, the subtle hints of yeast render the beer creamy with a tad o’ tartness, which is typical for wheat beers. The finish is hardly bitter, but racy, with a taste of bitter orange zest and discrete hops.

Tap at Beerfox. Pours pale. Aroma and flavor are spicy, fruity, wheaty, some bitterness. Overall: very good.

Bottle from crafty bottle Lincoln. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma floral and light citrus. Taste light. Taste light citrus slight tart. Smooth fresh body.

F: medium, white, not long lasting. C: blonde, bit hazy. A: wheat, fruity, floral, spicy, coriander, orange peels. T: malty, wheat, coriander, citrus, spicy, floral, medium body and carbonation, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Coop Supermarché in Genève Servette.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is orange peel, coriander, citric fruit. Body is medium, citric, spritzy, with an almost tart-making carbonation. Herbal and bitter, without lacking the background sweetness or yeastiness. Dry but fruity and lingering palate. Good, balanced wit!

Danke an anstei. Weich hefiger Beginn. Holzig herbe Noten mit erkennbarem, aber nicht wirklich eingreifendem Hopfen. Für ein Wit relativ schwer wirkend, weich herb, unsüffig. Konstant aber mild kräutrig. 9/9/9/9/11/9
