Hazy IPA Brewed in Collaboration with Fidens with Phantasm and Nelson Sauvin

This is an IPA so packed we flavor that we couldn't brew it alone! Our friends from Fiden's Brewing Co. (Colonie, NY) helped create this recipe with two fantastic ingredients from New Zealand: Nelson Sauvin hops and dried Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The result is ridiculous! Loaded with notes of gooseberry from the hops, passionfruit from the fermentation, and white grape from the grapes!

16oz can pours a hazy dark orange with a cap of creamy white head. Nose has green stuff, green melon and green grape, green grass, orange, green citrus, some herbs. Flavor is cool, malt and oat backbone then green citrus and grass and some soap. Melon and papaya lurking. Full bodied and lightly bitter, oily finish. First two sips I was convinced this was a miss, but it very much grew on me. 8 4 8 4 14
