It's a rather Old School style : a Black IPA with Citra, Simcoe and Amarillo. Medium-bodied, pronounced bitterness and a toasty finish from the malt. A very well-balanced beer that will undoubtedly accompany you spectacularly during the dark autumn afternoons.

La première Black IPA de DosKiwis, et quelle belle surprise.
Brune foncée, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé assez tenace.
Arôme sur un bouquet houblonné bien plaisant avec un Simcoe qui apporte un agréable bouquet de pin et de résine en dominance, plus qu’en bouche. Note de léger agrumes en retrait avec une balance de malts en rétro-nasal - effluves de grillé, toasté et léger café.
Palais est de suite sur une belle note de malt grillé, caramel, finement café et chocolaté, le tout assez délicat et repris de suite par un agréable houblonné dont un Amarillo et Simcoe qui oscillent entre des notes de pin/résine fraiche et d’agrumes – pointe d’orange. Petite sécheresse latente en fin de bouche, mais une Black IPA qui me propulse environ 15 ans en arrière aux premières Deschutes.
