Bottle from Craft Beer Station, Northampton. This is 7.8% though? Aroma has dark fruit sweetness, alongside coffee and liquorice. Dark. Positively Stygian. Creamy beige head. Coffee and liquorice bitterness. Tangy berry. Yeasty. Creamy. Develops a smokiness. Light-medium bodied... edging more towards the former. Slick. Sticky. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish.

Bottled (from Alko web shop). Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, some toast, chocolate, mild dried fruits and some wooden elements. Flavour is consisting of pretty much the same elements as the aroma, in a good balance. Drink at about 12-15 C temperature and it's rather at it's optimum. Fridge cold (7 C) it was feeling bit empty and watery.

0,33l bottle from Alko. BBE 29.06.2021. Almost black beer with good light beige, beautiful stable head. Aroma has lot of dark malts and caramel, flavor too. Nutty roasted malts, some coffee and bitter dry notes. Medium body, low carbonation. Very good, beautiful, malty and tasty beer!

330ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Bubbly tan-coloured head to a near-black body. Clingy lacing. Subdued smell of dark malts, slightly roasted with a hint of liquorice. Rather sweet taste of choco-caramel and liquorice. Rounded mid-sweet malty finish. Pretty alright. (Yueltide session with Finn and djoeye at PivotekaH7, Tromsø 30.12.2019).

Spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune i H7. Svart. Høyt tett lysebrunt skum. Daler sakte. Grei melkesjokoladearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Balansert. Smaken lettrøstet malt & lakris. Litt søt. Tørr avslutning.

Shards of cream head over red-shot virtually black beer. Liquorice, bit dry coffee, diluted cola. Coffee with a good shot of stout acidity. Charcoal, roast, and again liquorice. Pretty sweet in the end. Medium bodied at best; again sticky finish. Too sweet by half.
