Brewed in honor of our good friend Mr FatPhil, this is a remake of the beer we made way back in 2016. Updated and modernized for 2023. Bitter and sweet, hoppy, roasty and black. Brewed with Motueka, Centennial and Simcoe hops this Black IPA packs a punch.

Smooth, roasty and slightly fruity with some grassy hops, citrus, pine, resin and hints of coffee. Solid and crushable. Cheers FakePhil!

(Can, 0.33l, thanks FatPhil/tiong, at VastActiv, 20240112) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had burnt malts, pine and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, pine, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, hoppy and bitter. Nice. Bit too burnt.

33cl can from Sip, Tallinn. Pours black with a slightly tanned head. Roasty and hoppy as expected - nice, proper mixture of the dark and hoppy aromas. Tasty and enjoyable BIPA.
