Over the years we kept bumping into Bastian and Benedikt from Blech.Brut/Atelier Vrai. Two brewers from Bamberg, the lager capital of Europe who are trying to blend influences and styles. Both lager style beers and contemporary styles such as smoothie style sours and big IPAs.
Together we wanted to brew something we both enjoy, a refreshing, fruit intense and slightly acidic beer. Bastian had always wanted to brew something inspired by Balinese marmalade, a marmalade with all the tropical fruits you can imagine in it. Who are we to say no to that?

Can 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a solid, off-white head. The nose is a lovely melange of tropical fruit with no-one in particular standing out. Medium body, quite dry and tart with fresh tropical fruit accents. Somehow I could've used a little sweetness in there.... 050824

A slightly hazy golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of tart tropical fruits, passionfruit, guava. Taste of guava, passionfruit, mango, mild sourness.
