Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours clear reddish purple with a fizzy, fading pink head. Lightly sweet with a little funk, tart berries, basement cobwebs, herbs, blueberry skins, raspberry seeds. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Tart, quenching finish, fairly dry, more berry skins, subdued funk. Great stuff.

Keg at Mother Arch ii, 18/08/23. Ribena red topped with a crimson cap that thins to Edgework. Nose is blackcurrant, herb, hedgerow, straw, grains, light white peppery spice. Taste comprises blackcurrant, herb, straw, light farmyard notes, bramble berries, faint acidic tang, hay bale, berry pips, light funk, balsa wood. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Solid refresher.

Tap at kernel arch 7. A mostly clear deep plummy red coloured pour with a a fine pink head. Aroma is nice funky, ribena, leafy woodland berries, green berries, woodland fruit. Flavour is composed of super tart prickly blackcurrant, pithy red berries, prickly underripe green berries. Palate is super tart and prickly, sharp, tangy, higshih carbonation. Green brambles, pinch of citric acid. Super tart.
