--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear amber, small head. Caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Very caramelly with some grain and peppery alcohol. Warming finish with low to medium bitterness.

Bottle. Amber colour, mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is metallic, some caramel and mild spicy tones. Flavour is caramel, mild toasted tones some dusty and mild spicy tones too. Kind of homebrewish, and lacks a body more or less.

ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium to light amber colour with a average to small, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, belgian yeast, sweet yeast, candy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, candy - sweet yeast, phenol, belgian yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20231019]

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark amber with a slight haze and an off-white head. Almost non-existant aroma, a hint of toffee perhaps. Medium body, sweet toasted malt, perhaps a little nuttiness. There's a faint, underlying fustiness, but nothing too alarming. No real hoppiness. I read the style as a 'Dunkel', which could've made sense, but I see now, that it's actually a 'Dubbel', which it is totally not! Absolutely no Belgian yeast complexity. 220622

Draught @ Verdens Største Virtuelle Ølsmagning 2022, SKAAL, Sønderborg. Pours dark orangeish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with estery notes and fruity hints. Bitter, hoppy glavour with fruity and malty notes and touches of yeast and caramel. Bitter and estery aftertaste with touches of caramel malt. Reasonable. Please learn the grammar of Danish better, though. Daggry (dawn) is neuter, so the name of the beer should be Gyldent, not Gylden, Daggry.

Bottle, 6% at Skaal Sønderborg. Papery and caramelly aroma. Hazy light chestnut colour. Small head. The flavour is caramelly and papery. A bit anonymous for the style. OK mouthfeel. Papery finish. Better than it sounds, I guess, but not great - especially considering the ABV.
