Sample (thanks fonefan!). Rubyish copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, dried fruits, vanilla and some wooden tones to it. Flavour is mild spiciness, dried fruits, toffee and some mild spiciness. Nicely balanced, a bit Belgo-feel to this, whereas also kind of Dunkelish tones too... I like this, though the result probably is not exactly what was intended....

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark reddish brown with a creamy, beige head. Faint aroma, perhaps a hint of vanilla. Medium body, has a slightly sweet milk chocolate note with a vanilla touch. Subdued, finishing bitterness. Not really a Dunkel, but absolutely not a Vienna. But clean and well brewed. 301123
