One of our autumn specials, Stormchaser is evocative of the brooding weather at this time of year. A blend of Celeia and Galena hops with a sprinkling of Azacca and First Gold, this American Pale Ale is brewed with Lager and Vienna malt with a touch of wheat to provide a long dry citrus finish. A ray of sunshine amidst the chasing of clouds.

Cask, gravity at the Flowerpots brewpub, Cheriton, Hampshire 6th and 7th June 2008 Pours light amber with a tiny sprinkling of white bubbles. Some malt and gentle sweet wafts on the aroma but it really was a very subtle nose. A tasty semi bitter/sweet beer that had a nice back up of hops that tingled nicely, sat outside this wonderful pub on such a glorious weekend was very moreish, so much so that we camped in the lovely field behind the pub. This was probably the best of the Flowerpots beers that I tried over the weekend and the one that I made my beer of choice after having tried all of the others. I’d had Cheriton beers in the past in my pre rate beer days but it was nice to see the new brewer and new brewery name doing well, a decent beer!
