Draught@Teerenpeli Kamppi, Helsinki. Deep reddish brown colour with a mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is tar, smoked and mild meaty tones with some sweet grains too. Flavour is caramel, some smoke, grains, mild toffee and some wooden elements too. Long smoky aftertaste.

On tap at Teerenpeli, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out moderate smoked peat, bready malt and a little caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of peated malt, some caramel and bready malt. Peaty and caramely. Not a great smoked beer - little depth or cohesion. Meh.

Tap at Teerenpeli, Helsinki. Dark red-brown color, good creamy beige head. Aroma has smoke, tar, wood and yeast. Medium-bodied. Malty front, some Caramalt, smoke. Hoppyness in the aftertaste. Smokeyness is stronger in the nose than in the flavor.

(Keg at Teerenpeli Kamppi, 20150426) The beer poured clear and dark brown. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had smoke, molasses and toasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, smoke, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A bit too sweet brew.
