Produite avec des malts sélectionnés et des châtaignes, elle possède une robe ambrée aux reflets rouges orangés. Titrée à 7%, c'est une bière de caractère et on ressent bien au nez sa puissance à travers ses arômes de céréales, de malts et de châtaignes.

Bottiglia. Il naso riconosce indizi di orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di apparenza velata e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione allegra e vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sulla lingua si percepiscono sentori di miele, crosta di pane, cereali, erba e agrumi.

Bottled. Amber colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is sugary, grainy, some fruity, toasted and mild wooden tones. Flavour is floral, toasted, mild fruity and some sweet malty tones to it. Mildly nutty elements as it warms up.

Bottle 330ml BBE 2013 (Saveur)
Deep amber-copper color, good creamy white head. Mostly cardboardish-papery aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, some odd milky twist, cardboardish. Sweetness covers alcohol, but late burning notes. Past its prime, don’t know if it was any good younger.
