Konjakkitynnyrissä kahdeksan kuukautta maustunut barley wine on imenyt itseensä kaiken tarvittavan säilyttäen samalla oman luonteenomaisuutensa. Remains on pehmeän aromikas ja täyteläisen maltaisen lämmittävä olut, joka tasapainoilee toffeemaisen makeuden, kuivahedelmien, viipyilevän rusinaisuuden, konjakkisuuden ja tynnyrin luoman kuivuuden kanssa.

(Keg at Oluthuone Haka, 20260306) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had toasted malts, vanilla, wood and caramel. Palate was full bodied and soft with low carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, biscuits, vanilla, wood, prunes and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, prunes and bitterness. A pleasant malty brew with good drinkability despite its high ABV.

Bottled@ZINC Craft Bar, Vaasa. Deep coppery amber colour with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some alcohol, dried fruits and mild ripe fruits too. Flavour is alcohol, some liquorice, mild yeasty tones with some slightly spicy tones. Long fruity and berryish aftertaste with alcohol also playing a good role to it.

0,33l bottle from the brewery. Bottled 2/2021, bbe 15.2.2026. Almost clear red brown beer with tiny head on the edges of the glass. Aroma has wood, malts, caramel and cognag. Flavor has caramel, malts, alcohol, some herbs and wood.

Tap at HazeWave, Helsinki. Color is cloudy orange with small thick white head. Aromas and flavors: Ripe fruits, cognag, Woody elements... mixed feelings.
Reddish brown, even a bit translucent. Moderately sweet, a bit boozy, quite soft. Toffee, raisin, cognac, surprisingly light and fruity. Not what I expected (#bil) but a very nice imperial red.

Smell of roasted malt, licorice. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, raisins, liquor. Sweet. Soft palate.

Sample @ Tuju tasting, Juova, Helsinki. Soft, heavy with prunes, raisins and maltiness, some cognac and oaky notes. Quite soft and complex.
